PS Vita TV

The new PS Vita TV.

Sony has announced the new ps vita tv. It is a tiny thing. Think of it as Ouya for the Playstation Vita instead. It allows Vita games to be streamed to the television by inserting your Vita memory card and game card into the console. Yes,  it can play your Vita games, also all those PS one classics and games that are downloadable from the PS store. But the bad news is that the console will not be able to play some vita games ( those that require the functionality of the Vita touchscreen and rear touch pad ) . It is a sad thing, I know, I feel you.

The good news is that after a "future system update" we can stream Playstation 4 games on the PS VITA TV. It will be a great convenience if we have two TVs in the house and one of them that your Playstation 4 is attached to is currently occupied. We will be able to play games using the PS VITA TV on another television set via streaming. The price for the console is announced as 9,954 yen, which is approximately $100. It's cheap and small. It will launched at Japan on November 14, 2013. Other regions and countries have not been announced for release yet.

There will also be a more expensive package containing a Dual Shock 3 controller. It can be used to play games.
